Kukkiwon 1st Dan
Syed Faaiz's Kukkiwon certificate confirms that he passed the 1st Dan promotion test. The accompanying card identifies him as a registered 1st Dan holder. Both documents carry his full name, Syed Faizan Hussain Hashmi.
Training with purpose
Syed Faaiz chose to commit to Taekwondo and the work it demands. Training takes intensity, patience, and the willingness to repeat difficult techniques until they improve. His 1st Dan reflects the hard work behind those sessions and his decision to keep going.
About Kukkiwon
Kukkiwon opened in Seoul in 1972. Known as the World Taekwondo Headquarters, it develops and promotes Taekwondo as a Korean martial art practiced around the world.
Kukkiwon's Poom and Dan promotion tests evaluate a practitioner's Taekwondo spirit, technical proficiency, and training level. Syed Faaiz's 1st Dan is a rank issued through that system.
